A Day on the Water

Day Before the Trip

Scott or Ben will contact you to plan and confirm details such as the meeting location and time, ensuring you're prepared for the adventure ahead.

Morning of the Trip

You'll meet your guide at the designated boat ramp in the morning. This is where the excitement begins, as you embark on a full day of fishing. Before getting started, the guide will go over important safety precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

 On the Water

Once you're on the drift boat and ready to go, your guide will provide a casting lesson. Whether you're a beginner or need a refresher, you'll learn the fishing techniques you'll use during the trip. With your guide's expertise, you'll navigate the waters and start fishing. Your guide will be there to offer tips and pointers to help you improve your skills and increase your chances of a great fish.

 Lunch Time

Midday your guide will find a nice spot along the shore to park the boat for lunch. Enjoy a wholesome lunch of deli sandwiches, chips and salsa, with water and soft drinks provided. Feel free to bring any additional beverages.

Afternoon Fishing

After recharging with lunch,  you'll head back onto the water and continue your fishing adventure. With your guide's knowledge of the area, you'll explore fertile fishing spots for a rewarding experience.

End of the Trip

When the float is over, your guide will handle the task of loading the boat and your car will be in the parking lot next to the ramp. You'll leave with great memories, new skills, and hopefully stories of the one that didn't get away! This guided trip is not only about catching fish but also about enjoying the tranquility of being on the water, learning new techniques, and having a relaxing day outdoors with the guidance of a knowledgeable Guide. After a refreshing experience on the water, it’s time to debrief and share some memories of your journey captured through photos.  Your guide is eager to hear your thoughts and share a laugh as you conclude your trip.

 Gratuity

Thank you for choosing Scott and Ben as your fishing guides! While gratuity is not included, it is very much appreciated and typically starts at 20%. Your support helps us continue to provide you with the best experience on the water. We truly value your generosity!
